In the next few weeks we will share with our readers some reflections on Noel’s political legacy that have been originally published posthumously by close friends, political collaborators, former students and also by different media outlets.
The two pieces we present below are authored by one of our editors and Noel’s friend, Jarrod Shanahan.
The first is a personal reflection written for Commune Magazine that touches on Noel’s life and political contributions to contemporary left politics and organizing.
The second is an interview for LaborWave Radio, a podcast focused on revolutionary left politics and organizing. In the interview, Jarrod expands on his Commune article and charts Noel’s key contributions such as “white skin privilege” theory and his views on political action. You can listen in and read the full interview transcript.
