Roy Moore, Republican nominee to fill the U.S. Senate seat from Alabama vacated by Jeff Sessions, has been accused of sexually harassing teenage girls, including a fourteen-year-old. Moore is the founder and president of the Foundation for Moral Law. With theย Vietnam War underway, Moore served in several posts as a military police officer, including Fort Benning, Georgia and Illesheim,ย Germany, before being sent to Vietnam. Serving as the commander of 188th Military Police Company of the 504th Military Police Battalion,ย Moore was known to be very strict. Some of his soldiers gave him the derogatory nickname “Captain America,โ due to his attitude toward discipline.
